• Job Description
• The Maintenance Technician is responsible for setting up, maintaining, testing, adjusting, and supporting manufacturing machinery and processes, including dies and molds. The role involves providing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting a wide spectrum of tooling and production equipment to resolve any problematic issues.
• Responsibilities
• + Set up and maintain manufacturing machinery and processes. + Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment. + Troubleshoot issues with tooling and production equipment. + Support machinery processes and adjust as necessary.
• Essential Skills
• + 3-5 years of experience in a technical or manufacturing environment. + Experience as a maintenance or equipment technician. + Electrical experience, including working with proximity sensors, servo motors, and production cameras. + Ability to program and troubleshoot PLCs. + Mechanical/electrical experience. + Proficiency in reading product blueprints.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred:

2-Year or 4-Year Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering/Technical Degree. + Familiarity with MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook). + CPR/First Aid/AED training. + Tool and machine experience with basic machinist skills, general die mechanics, bench work, and soldering. + Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently. + Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes and lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist. + Experience can supplement or replace educational requirements. + Tool & Die or Electrical Journeyman/Certification is a plus.
