Maintenance Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as an ohmmeter and schematics. Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in maintenance or a related field. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn and grow within the company. Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects. Working knowledge of the following items: (1) Conveyor systems; (2) Torit Dust collector; (3) Balers; (4) Forklifts; (5) Air compressors; and (6) Pneumatic equipment/systems.
