Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Primary Location :

Libertyville, Illinois V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician for our premier client in Libertyville, Illinois. Education and Experience » High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance or a manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems.

Knowledge and Skills:

Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred:

Experience with HP MJF and Markforged printers. Basic understanding of 3D printing processes and materials. Knowledge of pneumatic and electrical systems. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Job Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HP MJF printers, Markforged printers, and other additive manufacturing equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Safety & Compliance:

Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure compliance with environmental and material handling regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve maintenance schedules, reduce downtime, and enhance overall shop efficiency.

Facility & Shop Support:

Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment such as air compressors, dryers, and ventilation systems. Ensure proper calibration and functionality of all shop tools and machines. Interested?
