What You'll Do Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production and packaging equipment Use PLC knowledge to diagnose faults in control systems, sensors, VFDs, and HMIs Perform electrical troubleshooting on motors, drives, panels, and control circuits Maintain mechanical systems including conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, and gearboxes Respond quickly and effectively to equipment issues to minimise downtime Complete preventive maintenance and support reliability improvement efforts Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Document work orders, repairs, and improvements in the CMMS Work in compliance with food safety, GMP, and safety standards What We're Looking For 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (including 480V systems) Hands‑on experience troubleshooting PLC‑controlled equipment Comfort working with automated production or packaging machinery Solid mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and a proactive maintenance mindset Preferred (Not Required) Food or beverage manufacturing experience Allen‑Bradley PLC, HMI, and VFD experience Technical certification or associate degree in maintenance, automation, or electrical systems CMMS experience What We Offer $35.00/hour minimum , with higher pay available for strong PLC experience Consistent first‑shift schedule - no rotating shifts Stable, long‑term role with a growing manufacturer Clean, organised, and safety‑focused food production environment Overtime opportunities when desired Competitive benefits package including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Company culture that values maintenance as a critical function, not an afterthought
