Job Description

A maintenance technician ensures maximum machinery uptime, safety, and facility functionality by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical systems, and repairing production equipment. They maintain detailed work records, manage spare parts inventory, and comply with safety regulations (OSHA).
Key Responsibilities Preventive/Predictive Maintenance:
Perform routine lubrication, cleaning, inspection, calibration, and alignment of production machinery to prevent failures.
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues, dismantling and repairing equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
Facility Support:
Maintain plant utility systems (boilers, air compressors, HVAC, lighting, and plumbing).
Documentation & Reporting:
Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, machine history, and inventory usage.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
Installation:
Assist in installing and setting up new machinery.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or industrial maintenance certification preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience in industrial maintenance (manufacturing environment).
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of PLC systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
Physical Strength:
Ability to lift heavy machinery and work in demanding environments. EOE, including disability/vets
