Maintenance Technician

One Earth Energy is currently seeking a maintenance technician to join our Maintenance team. A strong electrical background is highly desired.

Summary:

Maintain plant machinery and equipment systems while performing other duties required to ensure plant production process continues. Install new machinery and equipment on a project by project basis. Individuals assigned to this position will normally be responsible for the preventative and routine maintenance of all machinery and equipment systems of the plant.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Trouble-shoot and determine repairs and maintenance as necessary. Repair and maintain machinery and equipment. Perform various preventative maintenance checks and repairs on machinery and equipment. Equipment overhauls, welding, pump repair, pipefitting, electrical and electrical instrumentation, grain conveyors, and valves. Complete work orders and document the time, tasks and parts/supplies needed to complete the work order in the CPMS software. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Greasing and oiling Service of rolling stock and equipment according to service schedule Fabricating Vibration detection Rigging & lifting Perform housekeeping duties as documented, but not limited to the cleanliness and orderly organization of electrical work areas, MCC rooms, electrical enclosures, maintenance shop and DDG building. Perform required maintenance duties as needed on an on-call basis as scheduled. Perform all duties in accordance with safety regulations and lock-out/tag-out procedures. Other duties as may be assigned to accomplish the safe and timely day-to-day operations within the plant.

Qualifications:

3-5 years industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to work well with others and to work independently. Ability to perform in a manufacturing environment- ability to lift 50+ lbs. Ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities as needed.
