Maintenance Technician - Employer PAID Health Insurance

Houff Corporation is seeking a versatile and dependable employee to support multiple operational needs within the company. This position will primarily focus on mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment. This role requires flexibility, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a variety of environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
• Support general operational tasks across facilities as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies while performing job duties
• Work collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams Requirements
• Ability to work comfortably at heights up to 60 feet
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Willingness to travel to all Houff facilities including Weyers Cave, Doswell, Clifton Forge, and Rockbridge
• Flexible schedule (night or weekend work may occasionally be required)
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions
• Willingness to learn new skills and perform tasks outside of one's comfort zone
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Class A CDL Qualifications
• Previous experience in automotive repair or a technical trade
• Previous experience working in maintenance or industrial environments
• HVAC experience
• Welding experience
• Electrical experience
