Job Description

Category Imaging - Mammography Job Type Contract Step into a vital role providing high-quality mammography imaging services at a respected healthcare facility. Your expertise as a Mammography Technologist will help deliver essential screening and diagnostic care for patients, ensuring accuracy and compassion every step of the way. Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals dedicated to excellence in women's health.
Qualifications:
Current ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification with Mammography specialization State licensing as required by governing bodies Proven experience in mammography imaging procedures Familiarity with digital mammography and advanced imaging equipment Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain patient privacy and comfort during procedures Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Schedule/Hours:
Consistent daytime shifts Monday through Friday availability preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams with precision and empathy Prepare and position patients for imaging to ensure high-quality diagnostic results Operate and maintain mammography and related imaging equipment Review and record patient history in accordance with facility protocols Follow all safety standards, radiation safety policies, and quality control guidelines Assist radiologists and collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal patient care Educate patients about procedures and provide reassurance throughout their visit Accurately document and report exam findings
