Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Production Control Manager to lead and optimize our metal stamping manufacturing operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee production planning, scheduling, and control processes to ensure seamless manufacturing flow, meet delivery deadlines, and uphold the highest quality standards. Your expertise in supply chain management, lean manufacturing principles, and ERP systems will drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Duties Develop and execute detailed production schedules aligned with customer demands and inventory targets using SAP and other ERP systems. Manage production workflows, ensuring optimal utilization of resources, machinery, and labor across all manufacturing processes. Monitor real-time production data to identify bottlenecks, implement corrective actions, and maintain steady output levels. Lead continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies to enhance productivity and quality. Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely procurement of materials, manage inventory levels, and optimize supply chain analytics for better forecasting. Oversee quality control procedures to uphold product standards, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective measures. Drive plant management activities including safety compliance, equipment maintenance planning, and staff development to foster a high-performance environment. Requirements Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of supply chain management concepts. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) is essential. Solid knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies, process improvement techniques, and continuous improvement practices. Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment, assembly lines, and plant operations is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively while promoting safety and quality standards. Excellent analytical skills with expertise in supply chain analytics for demand forecasting and resource planning. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management or related field; advanced certifications in operations or supply chain management are a plus.
