About Spinning Designs At Spinning Designs, we manufacture custom promotional products — including our signature large spinning prize wheels, Plinko boards, and interactive event games — proudly made in the USA. Our products show up at trade shows, events, and entertainment venues nationwide. We're a small, growing shop where craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a clean work area matter. The Role We're hiring an experienced assembly associate to join our production floor in Wall, NJ. This is a hands-on role focused on assembly and fabrication, working with aluminum, wood, and steel using saws, drill presses, sanders, and hand tools. There's some light CNC operation mixed in — no programming or complex prints required, and we'll train you on our equipment. We're looking for a manufacturing professional who knows how to carry themselves on a shop floor: steady when volume spikes, careful with their work, and methodical about keeping their station clean and organized. What You'll Do Assemble final products to spec using hand tools, drill presses, and saws Fabricate and assemble parts from wood, aluminum, plastic, and steel using various tools Apply industrial adhesives to build large wheels and similar aluminum assemblies Operate CNC routers for basic cutting and shaping (training provided) Read shop drawings and verify work with calipers, gauges, and tape measures Coach entry-level teammates and support the shop manager during production What We're Looking For 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing or shop experience (required) Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work Proficiency in using common shop tools (saws, drill presses, sanders, calipers) Steady, reliable, punctual, and team-oriented High school diploma or GED; fluent in English (written and spoken) Able to lift up to 50 lbs (including MDF sheets) and stand for extended periods Nice to Have (Not Required) Soldering or basic electronics assembly experience Basic welding skills for when we are in a pinch Interview Process Select candidates will be invited for a paid on-site interview (2 hours, compensated at $20/hour). Sessions are scheduled at 10:00 AM or 1:00 PM .
Hours :
This role can be either part-time or full-time, with a minimum of 25 hrs/maximum of 40 hrs weekly.
Full-time schedule is:
Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM-2:30 PM.Flexible start time as early as 7:00 AM.
Lunch:
12:00-12:30 PM |
Breaks:
10:00-10:15 AM & 3:00-3:15 PM. Pay $27 per hour. Pay growth is tied to annual reviews that reward reliability, teamwork, and skill development. Benefits Employer-sponsored health plan
