Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Manufacturing & Maintenance Associate to support production and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for material handling, equipment support, production assistance, and maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Obtain and verify correct production and batch documentation prior to processing materials. Transport raw materials, ingredients, and finished products safely throughout the facility using a forklift and other material handling equipment. Ensure the correct materials and ingredients are delivered to designated production areas. Support production operations by supplying operators with required materials to keep equipment and production lines running efficiently. Assist with weighing and staging materials according to production specifications and recipes when required. Set up and support weigh-up, packaging, and related production equipment while following all operating and safety procedures. Monitor equipment and work areas for operational issues and promptly report maintenance, safety, or production concerns to appropriate personnel. Process, package, palletize, and move materials according to production and customer specifications. Perform routine cleaning of machinery, forklifts, and production areas to maintain housekeeping and safety standards. Complete and maintain accurate production, inventory, and operational documentation. Follow all workplace safety rules, GMP standards, and company policies at all times. Assist with general maintenance, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment required. Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification. Prior manufacturing, maintenance, production, or packaging experience preferred. Ability to safely operate forklifts and other industrial equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions and procedures. Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift, move, and transport materials as needed. Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
