Job Summary
MANUFACTURING ENGINEER K&S
is a privately-held, financially sound and growing company seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In business since 1974, we are a vertically-integrated leader in the field of metal fabrication. K&S is a performance-based company with clearly stated goals and objectives in place to drive continued success. Our infrastructure is primed to support continued growth and expansion through: laser cutting, brake forming, robotic and manual welding, stamping, machining, and tool and die.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create metal fabricating manufacturing specifications through PPAP approval. Improve manufacturing processes and efficiencies. Manage workload in changing and fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Engineering field or commensurate experience. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment - metal forming or similar processes, a plus. Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks and Microsoft Excel Weld Experience a plus. Working knowledge of GD&T in sheet metal fabricating. Hands-on and practical knowledge working with manufacturing equipment and tools. Possess the capacity to handle multiple responsibilities/tasks on a routine basis. Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualification:
Experience with PFMEA, control plans, fixture development, and customer interface. Master Cam programming experience.
