12-Hour Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 2-2-3 Schedule)

Jabil is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our night shift team in Hanover Park, IL. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electro-mechanical production equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting operations to minimize downtime and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical and mechanical systems and experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

Associate's degree in electronics or equivalent training/education required. 2-5 years of experience in electro-mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment. strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Experience with computerized maintenance tracking systems (CMMS). Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Forklift certification preferred. Understanding of safety procedures and requirements. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Schedule & Physical Requirements:

12-hour night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, bending, and reaching frequently. Must be able to work in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
