Manufacturing Project Manager Location:
Westfield, Indiana Salary:
$75,000 $85,000 Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented, independent Manufacturing Project Manager to drive complex electronics manufacturing and process improvement projects from concept to delivery. You will be responsible for owning tasks without oversight, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that technical systems are delivered with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Project Lifecycle Management:
Manage projects from requirements gathering to final delivery, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
Documentation & Planning:
Author and maintain precise technical documentation, including SOPs and BOMs; manage project schedules using tools like Excel and Gantt charts.
Resource Coordination:
Coordinate procurement, fabrication, and production resources to ensure seamless execution.
Continuous Improvement:
Use data and metrics to drive process improvements; support quoting efforts through labor and material estimation.
Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact between customers, vendors, and internal technical teams.
Qualifications:
Qualifications Education:
Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial), Engineering Technology, Supply Chain & Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong experience with project planning tools (Excel, Gantt charts), technical writing, and familiarity with MRP systems or BOMs.
Process Knowledge:
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen methods is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Ability to work independently, multitask across shifting priorities, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
