About Us Contempo Floor Coverings has been serving Southern California for nearly 50 years, providing premium flooring, custom rugs, window coverings, and upholstery services to homeowners, interior designers, architects, and builders. We are known for our exceptional products, knowledgeable staff, and commitment to outstanding customer service. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Window Covering & Upholstery Sales Specialist to join our team. This is a sales-focused position responsible for helping clients select custom window treatments, drapery, motorized shades, shutters, upholstery, and fabrics while managing projects from initial consultation through installation. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, self-motivated, and passionate about design and sales. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting custom window coverings and upholstery solutions. Build relationships with homeowners, designers, builders, and architects. Prepare quotes and proposals. Follow up on sales opportunities and maintain an active pipeline. Coordinate measurements, ordering, and installation. Communicate with vendors, installers, and clients throughout each project. Stay current on products, trends, and industry developments. Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale. Qualifications Previous experience selling window coverings, upholstery, flooring, interior furnishings, or related home products preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Organized with excellent attention to detail. Comfortable managing multiple projects at once. Self-starter with the ability to work independently. Proficient with basic computer applications. Compensation & Benefits Commission role, 30% of gross profit Opportunity for significant earning potential. Health insurance contribution. Contempo to pay 50% of health insurance. $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
