Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cabinet Finisher and bring expertly crafted cabinetry to life! In this vital role, you will be responsible for applying finishes, stains, paints, and protective coatings to custom cabinets, ensuring each piece meets our high standards of quality and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal finish application Apply stains, paints, lacquers, varnishes, or other finishes with precision using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Inspect finished cabinets for imperfections and perform touch-ups to achieve flawless results Follow detailed schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate color matching and finish consistency Collaborate with carpenters and fabrication teams during assembly to ensure proper fit and finish standards are maintained Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment Adhere to safety protocols related to chemical handling, heavy lifting, and use of personal protective equipment Qualifications Proven experience in cabinet finishing or related woodworking roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, spray equipment, and finishing products effectively Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical instructions for precise application Familiarity with construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall installation, and remodeling is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks throughout the workday Experience working on construction sites or within restoration industries is highly valued Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills in woodworking, staining, caulking, plastering, tile laying or flooring installation is preferred We're committed to empowering our team members with opportunities for growth while providing a safe and supportive work environment.
