About the Position We are looking for an experienced Custom Cabinet Maker / Millworker to join our team. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in quality woodworking and enjoys building custom cabinets, millwork, doors, furniture, and other specialty projects. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in custom cabinetry, millwork, furniture making, or a similar woodworking trade. You should be comfortable working from drawings, operating shop equipment, and taking a project from raw materials through accurate assembly and finished product. Responsibilities Build custom cabinets, doors, furniture, millwork, and specialty wood components. Read and work from blueprints, shop drawings, cut lists, and project specifications. Measure, cut, machine, assemble, and finish components accurately. Safely operate woodworking equipment including table saws, jointers, planers, sanders, routers, and other shop machinery. Perform quality joinery, fitting, and assembly work. Check finished work for accuracy, fit, and overall quality. Troubleshoot fabrication and assembly issues and find practical solutions. Work independently on assigned projects while also working closely with the shop team. Communicate with foremen and project managers regarding project details and deadlines. Assist with CNC operation or programming when needed. Training may be available for the right candidate. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow shop safety procedures and take proper care of company equipment. Complete work accurately and efficiently while meeting project deadlines. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in custom cabinetmaking, millwork, furniture making, or a related woodworking trade. Strong knowledge of woodworking materials, tools, construction methods, and joinery. Ability to read and understand shop drawings, blueprints, and measurements. Comfortable using common woodworking hand tools and power equipment. Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. CNC experience is a plus. Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand/work on your feet for extended periods.
