Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate cabinet fabrication and installation. Measure spaces precisely to create custom cabinetry that fits seamlessly into designated areas. Use hand tools and power tools designed for woodworking to cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinets. Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently to produce high-quality components. Install cabinets, countertops, trim, doors, siding, fixtures, and other woodwork with attention to detail and craftsmanship. Perform heavy lifting as needed during the transportation and positioning of cabinetry components on-site. Ensure all work complies with safety standards such as power tool safety protocols and proper handling of construction materials. Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet deadlines, specifications, and quality expectations. Conduct touch-ups, adjustments, caulking, sealing, or finishing work to achieve a polished look. Assist with related tasks such as remodeling projects, tile laying, stucco application, or minor repairs when required. Experience Proven experience in residential carpentry or woodworking with a focus on cabinetry or trim carpentry. Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, wood construction materials, and woodworking machines. Knowledge of construction site safety practices including power tool safety procedures. Familiarity with framing carpentry, rebar installation (for structural support), plastering, mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus. Experience in the restoration industry or remodeling projects is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
