Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Traveling FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) Installer to join our team. This role involves traveling to various project sites to install, assemble, and restore FF&E components in commercial, hospitality, and residential environments. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess a strong background in construction, carpentry, and fixture installation. As a Traveling FF&E Installer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all installations meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects across multiple locations, delivering exceptional results and enhancing spaces with precision and craftsmanship. Responsibilities Travel to different project sites to install, assemble, and secure furniture, fixtures, and equipment according to construction plans and schematics Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute installation tasks Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing, cabinetry, door hanging, and fixture installation Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for installing large or bulky FF&E components safely Ensure all work complies with power tool safety standards and construction site safety regulations Coordinate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines and quality expectations Conduct restoration work such as drywall repair, plastering, caulking, stucco application, or water damage remediation as needed Skills Strong construction estimating skills with the ability to interpret construction plans and technical drawings Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate installation Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, hammers) and power tools for woodworking, metal framing, and fixture assembly Experience with woodworking machines and heavy equipment used in residential carpentry or remodeling projects Knowledge of wood construction materials, rebar installation, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience, plumbing, and electrical systems Ability to perform fabrications such as custom cabinetry or fixture modifications on-site or in manufacturing settings Familiarity with the restoration industry including mold remediation or water damage restoration processes Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols for power tools and heavy lifting Ability to interpret technical schematics related to fixtures or structural components Prior experience in the restoration industry or working on renovation projects is highly desirable This position is paid and offers an engaging environment where your craftsmanship makes a tangible difference across diverse projects.
