At Pivotal Retail Group, our traveling Commercial Millwork and FF&E teams turn plans into reality—cabinetry hung true, fixtures aligned, graphics crisp, and finishes dialed in. A Day in the Life You'll work with precision and pride to: Install architectural millwork—cabinetry, countertops, trim, wall panels, and casework—so everything fits perfectly and looks flawless. Assemble and set retail fixtures, shelving, displays, and furnishings for a complete store build-out. Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and installation plans to sequence work and hit timelines. Place specialty components including bathroom accessories, wall protection, graphics, doors, hardware, and related equipment. Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Collaborate with a traveling team on projects throughout the Southeast United States. Keep the site clean, organized, and professional from start to finish. What You Bring Background in commercial carpentry, millwork installation, FF&E installation, or construction (preferred). Comfort reading tape measures and basic construction drawings. Reliable transportation to and from project sites.
Your own core tools:
drill, impact, circular saw, tape measure, hammer, screwdrivers, and similar basics. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stay on your feet through the workday. Dependable, detail-focused, and safety-minded work habits. Willingness to travel for extended stretches. Travel This role is 100% travel across the Southeast United States and may keep you on the road for 3 or more weeks at a time. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience. Hotel accommodations provided. $30 per day Per Diem. Mileage reimbursement of $0.40 per mile after the first 60 miles traveled. Travel time paid at state minimum wage after the first hour of travel. Clear pathways to Lead Installer and Project Lead opportunities. A steady pipeline of work with potential to grow into full-time engagement.
