Job Description
Wood Furniture Manufacturer and Custom Cabinet Shop has an immediate opening for a woodworker/trim out lead to join our team. We cross train employees who want to learn how to work in all departments and prefer to promote from within the company. Primary job responsibilities Complete furniture and cabinetry assembly with doors, drawers, hinges, hardware, etc. Will be working in various departments or on installs after proper training unless already experienced in these areas. Read cut lits and supporting docs and follow proper Quality Control procedures Operating small machines and tools until trained on saws Need to operate all types of hand sanders and belt sander for larger items and prepare product for sanding and finishing/spraying departments Help PM or Shop Supervisor with shop projects Sand, prep, and assist finishing team (if needed) to support shop operations. We are seeking a dependable and reliable employee with the following experience
- We prefer candidates to have have min. 1 year experience
- Initial training will be necessary, and if you only have basic woodworking skills (or none but a good attitude and the eagerness to learn), we would like you to contact us.
- MUST be able to read a tape measure and comfortable working on various hand tools, shop machines, saws and sanders.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift or move min. 75 lbs.
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Working as a team member
- Good communicator and not afraid to ask questions or accept constructive criticism Pay is based on entry level skills and possible experience, skills and knowledge ($15
- 17 to start).
