This energetic position involves installing, repairing, and maintaining seawalls designed to withstand the forces of nature while enhancing shoreline stability. As a Seawall Installer, you'll work outdoors in various weather conditions, utilizing your construction expertise and technical skills to deliver durable solutions that stand the test of time. We are committed to fostering a safe, collaborative environment where your craftsmanship and dedication make a real impact. Previous experience is required. Pay based on experience. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise seawall installation aligned with project specifications Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools to guide proper placement and alignment of seawall components Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers to facilitate efficient work flow Install seawalls using a variety of hand tools and power tools, ensuring secure placement of building materials such as concrete panels, steel reinforcements, and masonry units Conduct construction inspections throughout the project to verify adherence to safety standards, blueprint specifications, and quality benchmarks Perform related tasks including gutter installation, tile masonry work, plastering, drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, fixture mounting, cabinet setup, framing carpentry, masonry work, flooring installation, and tile laying as needed for comprehensive shoreline stabilization projects Collaborate with team members to follow construction management protocols and ensure timely project completion while maintaining excellent customer service standards Experience Proven construction site experience with a focus on seawall or shoreline stabilization projects is highly preferred Strong knowledge of construction management practices including estimating, planning, and safety procedures Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints with attention to dimensional measurements for precise installations Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, ladder use, and building material installation techniques such as masonry, drywall, stucco, caulking, and fixture mounting Familiarity with plumbing and electrical experience is a plus for integrated coastal infrastructure projects Ability to perform construction inspection duties confidently while adhering to safety regulations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members alike Join us in building resilient shorelines!
