  • Custom Residential Projects (Commission-Based | 1099) Central Florida LG Floor Design is a established and fast-growing specialty installation and fabrication company serving Central Florida.
We specialize in high-quality custom projects including tile and flooring installation, large-format porcelain slabs, custom fabrication, bathrooms, showers, fireplaces, pool areas, exterior surfaces, waterproofing systems, and specialty finishes. We are not a general construction company. Our focus is the professional management, fabrication, and installation of the products and systems within our scope of work. We are looking for experienced Installation Project Supervisors who can take ownership of projects from estimating and planning through installation, punch list, and final completion. Compensation
  • Commission + Advance Draw This is a commission-based 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity. Earn 10
  • 15% of the project's gross profit , based on project performance and successful completion.
Supervisors may receive advance draw payments against their expected commission while projects are active. Draw payments are advances toward commissions earned and are reconciled against the final commission when the project is completed. There is no hourly salary or per-visit compensation. The position is designed to reward supervisors who successfully manage quality, productivity, scheduling, costs, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Project Supervision Most assigned projects require: Approximately 3 jobsite visits per week Approximately 1 hour per visit Flexible scheduling Ability to supervise multiple projects simultaneously Your responsibility is to make sure our installation and fabrication scope is properly planned, coordinated, executed, and completed according to our quality standards. What You'll Do As an Installation Project Supervisor, you will take ownership of assigned projects from estimating through final completion.
Responsibilities include:
Visit assigned jobs approximately 3 times per week Inspect installation quality and workmanship Prepare project estimates Perform field measurements and quantity takeoffs Estimate labor, materials, fabrication, and installation requirements Review blueprints, schematics, specifications, and construction plans related to our scope of work Coordinate installation schedules with builders, homeowners, designers, installers, and our office Coordinate fabrication and installation requirements Verify jobsite readiness before crews are scheduled Verify materials are ordered and available when needed Monitor installer productivity and project progress Ensure installations follow approved plans, layouts, specifications, and manufacturer requirements Identify field conditions that could affect installation Identify problems early and develop practical solutions Track project costs and help maintain targeted gross profit Minimize material waste, unnecessary labor, delays, and callbacks Take and upload progress photos Submit project updates after site visits Manage change orders and additional work within our scope Monitor punch-list items Participate in final walkthroughs Help ensure an excellent customer and builder experience Who We're Looking For We want experienced professionals who understand specialty installation, fabrication, estimating, and project supervision and can manage projects without constant supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in installation, remodeling, specialty trades, or project supervision
Languages:
English and Spanish•
REQUIRED
Experience preparing estimates, takeoffs, and project budgets Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction plans Ability to read plans and identify requirements specifically related to our installation scope Strong understanding of field measurements and material quantities Ability to coordinate installers and subcontractors Understanding of labor costs, material costs, waste, and project profitability Strong attention to detail and quality control Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Professional appearance and attitude Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Smartphone capable of taking quality jobsite photos Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously Experience We're Especially Interested In Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: Tile installation Large-format porcelain Porcelain slabs Stone installation Flooring Custom fabrication Waterjet fabrication Bathrooms and showers Waterproofing systems Fireplaces and feature walls Pool decks and exterior surfaces Custom residential projects High-end residential installations This Position Is Ideal For An experienced Tile/Stone Project Manager, Installation Supervisor, Flooring Project Manager, Specialty Trades Supervisor, Estimator, or experienced installer who has moved into project management. We are looking for someone who understands that a successful project isn't just about installation—it requires accurate estimating, planning, coordination, quality control, cost management, and communication. This is not a traditional hourly or salaried position. Your compensation is directly connected to the successful performance and profitability of the projects you supervise. The ability to successfully estimate and manage multiple projects can significantly increase your earning potential. Service Area Projects are located throughout Central Florida, including Orlando, Winter Park, Windermere, Lake Nona, Winter Garden, Clermont, Kissimmee, Sanford, and surrounding areas. Projects will be assigned based on location, experience, workload, and availability whenever possible.
