Job Overview Join our team as a Custom Cabinet Shop Helper and become a vital part of creating beautiful, functional custom cabinet projects! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work alongside skilled craftsmen in a dynamic environment. As a Cabinet Shop Helper, you will assist with various tasks involved in cabinet manufacturing; including but not limited to sanding and deliveries. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will help ensure smooth operations and high-quality results. This paid position is perfect for individuals eager to develop hands-on skills in construction, carpentry, and woodworking while contributing to exciting custom projects. Responsibilities Assist with cutting, sanding, assembling, and finishing cabinet components using hand tools and power tools for woodworking Support the setup and operation of woodworking machines such as saws, drills, and sanders to produce precise parts Read and interpret floor plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to aid in accurate assembly Help with the delivery and installation of cabinets on residential or commercial sites Maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly storing tools, materials, and equipment Follow safety protocols related to power tool safety, heavy lifting, and general workshop procedures Qualifications Prior experience in construction or carpentry is not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with hand tools such as saws, hammers, sanders, and screwdrivers Experience using power tools for woodworking including drills, sanders, and saws Ability to interpret floor plans and technical shop drawings accurately Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during work shifts Knowledge of workshop safety practices including power tool safety protocols Basic understanding of wood construction materials like plywood, MDF, trim boards, is not required but helpful. Punctual and Dependable Hardworking and a Positive Attitude Willing to learn and take direction Valid Drivers License-Required Successful completion of Drug Screen-Required This role offers an excellent pathway into the custom cabinet industry. Pay:
