Job Description
Full Job Description A showroom sales role focused on delivering a personalized design experience for customers working on remodel or new construction projects. The Designer guides clients through every stage of the project -from space planning and product selection to installation and completion. This role works with homeowners and trade professionals , handling projects ranging from single product purchases (vanities, faucets) to full-home cabinetry and plumbing solutions . A key focus is building and maintaining trade relationships to drive recurring business and long-term growth. Success in this role requires strong communication, sales, and customer service skills , the ability to qualify customer needs , manage project expectations, maintain consistent follow-ups, and build lasting relationships that lead to successful sales. Duties Provide daily showroom coverage, assisting trade accounts and walk-in customers Achieve monthly sales targets and annual goals while maintaining required gross profit margins. Follow up on quotes, bids, and orders daily, ensuring smooth processing and customer satisfaction through delivery. Set and manage customer payment terms in line with company policies. Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and innovations. Build strong relationships with trade professionals and manage projects to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Requirements 3 or more years of cabinet design experience and successful project completion, with the ability to demonstrate design work and 20/20 software skill 3 or more years of experience specifying decorative plumbing products. On-time, reliable attendance for scheduled work days. Relationship and project management experience with trade professionals. Established sales performance and ability to create and grow new customer relationships. Bachelor's degree in a design curriculum desirable. Bilingual language skills desirable.
