We are small, but growing family owned cabinet shop. We specialize both in residential and commercial fields. We value hard work, community, and team work. We are looking for an experienced cabinet maker to build custom cabinetry. Our hours are 7 am to 4 pm with a one-hour lunch with occasional opportunities for overtime. The work mainly consists of building cabinets and countertops. Although other things may be required based on the project. Pay range starts at $20.00 to $25.00 per hour dependent on experience level , qualifications, and on the job training necessary. Pay raises are available after training period as well as with annual review. As for benefits we offer Holiday Pay, PTO, and a monthly Cell Phone Stipend after the employees initial training period. However, we cannot offer Health Insurance plans at this time. Responsibilities Assist tradesmen in projects Unload and carry materials Take measurements Cut, shape, and sand materials according to measurements and/or direction given by tradesmen Build/assemble cabinets, counter tops, shelves and other items and install them where designated Skills Basic understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, tape measures etc.) Basic knowledge of shop machinery (tablesaw, mitersaw, ect.) Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times Good understanding of basic math Ability to work in a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand for the majority of the day Requirements >1 year experience in cabinet making A willingness to learn Regular and reliable attendance
