Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Custom Woodworker / Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom wood products and fabrications, transforming detailed blueprints and technical drawings into finished pieces that meet precise specifications. Your expertise in woodworking, fabrication, and construction techniques will contribute to a variety of projects, from cabinetry and fixtures to restoration and remodeling tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment where quality and attention to detail are paramount. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate custom wood components and assemblies. Operate hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinetry, doors, siding, fixtures, and other wood-based structures with precision. Perform trim carpentry tasks including door hanging, molding installation, and framing to ensure seamless finishes. Assist with restoration projects involving water damage repair. Conduct heavy lifting and material handling safely while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project specifications are met on time and within scope. Qualifications Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or fabrication within the construction or restoration industry. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction plans, and interpreting technical drawings. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing equipment, and related fabrication tools. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of various trades such as plumbing, electrical work, caulking, and fixture installation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of safety protocols including power tool safety standards and site-specific safety procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements quickly. Prior experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Pay:
$22.17 - $26.70 per hour
