In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, installing, and restoring custom cabinetry and woodwork with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise in woodworking techniques, blueprint interpretation, and construction processes will ensure our projects meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, bringing clients' visions to life through expert craftsmanship and innovative solutions. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and install custom cabinets and wood fixtures. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, CNC machines, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently to cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood components. Measure spaces precisely for cabinet installation, ensuring proper fitment and alignment in accordance with project specifications. Fabricate wood components for cabinetry, furniture, trim work, doors, siding, and other wood construction materials with attention to detail. Install cabinets, doors, moldings, fixtures, and other woodwork on-site while adhering to safety standards such as power tool safety protocols. Assist with restoration projects involving water damage remediation, drywall repairs, stucco application, siding replacement, or general renovation tasks. Collaborate with project managers to estimate construction costs accurately and interpret blueprints or schematics for complex projects. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring all tools and equipment are properly cared for and stored after use. Skills Extensive experience in residential carpentry, trim carpentry, framing, drywall installation, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical work or related construction fields. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics related to cabinetry or general construction plans. Strong knowledge of woodworking materials such as plywood, MDF, hardwoods; familiarity with rebar installation or concrete forming is a plus. Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, chisels), power tools (drills, sanders), CNC machinery for fabrication tasks. Understanding of construction estimating processes to assist with project planning and resource allocation. Knowledge of construction site safety practices including power tool safety regulations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy materials during fabrication or installation. Experience with fixture installation including doors, moldings, siding or other finishing touches that enhance project quality. Familiarity with restoration industry practices such as mold remediation or water damage restoration is advantageous.
