In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets and woodwork for commercial projects, ensuring precision and craftsmanship at every stage. Your expertise in woodworking, blueprint reading, and construction techniques will contribute to delivering exceptional results that meet client specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial installations to restoration jobs, utilizing your carpentry and fabrication skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate cabinets and wood components. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, CNC machines, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently. Measure, cut, assemble, and install custom cabinetry, fixtures, doors, siding, and trim according to project specifications. Perform construction estimating tasks related to materials and labor for cabinet fabrication projects. Ensure all work complies with safety standards such as power tool safety protocols and proper handling of heavy lifting tasks. Assist with restoration projects including water damage remediation, plastering, stucco application, drywall installation, and rebar installation when needed. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure quality control throughout the process. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry, woodworking or residential carpentry. Hands-on experience with construction site work including framing, concrete forming, roofing, siding, drywall finishing, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation and fixture installation. Familiarity with wood construction materials such as plywood, MDF, solid wood panels and related products. Knowledge of interpreting technical drawings and schematics for cabinetry or restoration projects. Experience working on restoration industry projects including mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus. Ability to operate woodworking machinery safely along with hand tools and power tools for woodworking applications. Prior involvement in remodeling or renovation projects involving drywall finishing, plastering or stucco application is desirable.
