Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinetmaking Millman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and experience in cabinetmaking processes. This role involves operating various milling machines and tools to create high-quality cabinetry components, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications. Duties Set up and operate milling machines, including jointers, table saws, routers, shapers and planers, to shape wood materials according to design specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine project requirements. Measure and cut wood materials accurately using hand tools and power tools. Assemble cabinet components, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality. Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality craftsmanship. Skills Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery and tools. Strong understanding of cabinetmaking techniques and woodworking principles. Attention to detail with a focus on precision in measurements and cuts. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints effectively. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.
