Job Type:
Full-time Prestige Millwork LLC is a leading manufacturer of high-end architectural millwork, with over 37 years of experience building custom work for offices, banks, hospitals, municipal projects, and schools. We're looking for an experienced shop bench mechanic to join our team.
Duties:
Fabricate and assemble custom architectural millwork components using laminate, wood veneer, solid lumber, and solid surface materials. Read and interpret shop drawings to accurately produce parts to specification. Operate shop bench tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Perform precise cutting, shaping, and assembly of cabinet and millwork components. Inspect finished parts for accuracy, fit, and quality before moving to the next stage of production. Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Experience :
Proven experience as a shop bench mechanic, cabinetmaker, or in a related millwork/woodworking field. Hands-on experience working with laminate, wood veneer, solid lumber, and solid surface. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings independently. Ability to work well as part of a team. Professional and reliable. As a Shop Bench Mechanic, you'll play a critical role in the fabrication stages of our architectural millwork projects — your precision and craftsmanship directly shape the quality and fit of the finished product.
