Jersey City, NJAboutOur client is a premier custom millwork and architectural woodworking company specializing in high-end residential and commercial interiors throughout New York City. We partner with architects, designers, and contractors to fabricate and install exceptional custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, kitchens, reception areas, wall paneling, built-ins, and specialty woodwork. Every project is crafted with precision, attention to detail, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our custom woodworking shop. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled craftsman who has spent years working with wood and understands every stage of cabinet fabrication.

The ideal candidate has extensive shop experience and is capable of independently building custom cabinetry from raw materials. Candidates who have previously owned or managed a woodworking or cabinet shop are highly encouraged to apply.

ResponsibilitiesBuild custom cabinets, closets, vanities, and millwork from shop drawings.

Measure, cut, shape, assemble, glue, and finish wood components.

Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.

Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Assemble cabinet boxes, drawers, doors, and specialty components.

Perform quality inspections throughout the fabrication process.

Ensure projects meet high-end residential quality standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop.
