Position Overview We are seeking a talented Sign Fabricator to join our production team in South Plainfield, NJ. In this role, you'll be hands-on in crafting high-quality interior and exterior signs from start to finish. You'll work with a variety of materials, tools, and fabrication methods, bringing custom designs to life while ensuring each piece meets our high standards. Key Responsibilities Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate signs. Cut, shape, assemble, and finish materials such as aluminum, acrylic, PVC, vinyl, and steel. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery including saws, shears, welders, routers, and printers. Apply vinyl graphics, paint finishes, and protective coatings. Work on Channel letters, Awnings, illuminated signs, Non-illuminated Signs, etc. Layout, apply, and wire LEDs for signs Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and alignment with project requirements. Collaborate with designers, project managers, and installers to ensure smooth project flow. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Troubleshoot fabrication issues and make adjustments as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in sign fabrication, metalworking, or in a related field. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and fabrication plans. Skilled in the safe and effective use of power tools, mechanical tools, fabrication tools and machinery. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good physical stamina; able to lift and move materials as required. Basic understanding of electrical wiring, tools, etc. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training a plus.
