Role Description We need an experienced cabinet installer / finish carpenter for a custom pass-through cabinet build in a Manhattan apartment (Chelsea, NY 10011). This is a built-to-spec piece, not stock kitchen cabinetry — mid-century/custom furniture style.

Scope of work:

Build and install a custom pass-through cabinet into an existing wall/column nook between the dining room and living room Base cabinet approx. 38"H x 24"D, wood-tone finish (species TBD), opening approx. 33"x33-34" (field verification required before final cut) Doors on BOTH sides of the cabinet (true pass-through — opens from either room) Light/white quartz countertop on top (installer coordinates with quartz fabricator/installer) Open shelving above counter up to the ceiling — 3 tempered glass shelves (installer coordinates with glass sub) First site visit will include taking field measurements (opening dimensions, ceiling height, wall plumb/square) before final material cutting Est.

start date:

on or after 9/25. Client has said timing is flexible, but we're looking to hire quickly.

Pay:

$1,600.00 per week
