Our services include design support, detailed drawings, fast high-quality manufacturing, and professional installation of kitchens, baths, built-in closets, bedding, offices, and playrooms to meet exact look, feel, color, and quality standards. HUFCO brings creative design, unique functionality, detailed engineering, and a precision production mindset combined with their meticulous attention to detail to give customers exactly what they desire. Owens Services partnered with HUFCO in 2023 to bring modernized business processes, hiring practices, process control, and engineering expertise to enable HUFCO to grow and operate costs competitively in today's work environment. Together, they bring two engineering degrees and over 30 years of experience in a wide array of manufacturing and service companies to support this growth. Job Summary HUFCO is hiring an Assistant Cabinet Maker to join our growing team of skilled craftsmen. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to build a long-term career in high-end custom woodworking, and is motivated to learn from experienced cabinetmakers. You'll gain experience in cutting, assembly, sanding, finishing, and installation support while working on a wide variety of custom cabinetry projects. Key ResponsibilitiesCutting & Fabrication
- Assist with parts creation using saws, routers, and CNC equipment
- Prep raw materials and stage components for builds
- Support overall woodshop workflow and daily production needs Assembly (Cabinetmaker Trainee Tasks)
- Follow drawings and instructions to assemble custom cabinetry
- Perform drilling, sanding, gluing, fitting, and hardware installation
- Maintain accuracy, craftsmanship, and attention to detail Finishing Support
- Prep surfaces for paint and finishing
- Assist with reassembly after finishing steps Installation Support
- Help install custom cabinetry at customer job sites
- Load/unload tools, materials, and finished cabinetry
- Represent HUFCO professionally during on-site interactions What We're Looking For

- Some woodworking experience (school, hobby, or professional)
- Familiarity with power tools (table saws, routers, drills, sanders, etc.)
- Basic understanding of shop safety
- Keen eye for precision and quality Bonus skills:
- CNC experience
- CAD or design/engineering background Requirements
- Monday-Friday availability
- Occasional overtime
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work hands-on throughout the day
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Pay:
$15.00- $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0
