Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Cabinet Installer & Shop Builder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing custom cabinets and woodworking components in a shop environment, preparing them for seamless installation at client sites. Your expertise in carpentry, woodworking, and construction will ensure high-quality craftsmanship and efficient project completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects, utilizing your technical skills and attention to detail to bring clients' visions to life. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately build cabinetry and woodwork components. Use hand tools and power tools designed for woodworking to cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinet parts with precision. Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently to produce high-quality components that meet project specifications. Assemble cabinet frames, doors, drawers, trim, siding, and fixtures according to design plans and industry standards. Prepare finished products for installation by ensuring proper measurements, fitting, caulking, sanding, and finishing touches. Collaborate with project managers and onsite teams to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely completion of shop-built components. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols related to power tool safety, heavy lifting, mold remediation, water damage restoration, and other construction site practices. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry, woodworking or residential carpentry is essential. Strong knowledge of construction plans, technical drawings, framing techniques, trim carpentry, door hanging, siding installation, tile laying, plastering, rebar installation or restoration industry experience is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, chisels as well as power tools for woodworking including sanders and routers. Familiarity with wood construction materials like plywood, MDF, hardwoods along with woodworking machines used for framing or finishing projects. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately while following detailed instructions for assembly or remodeling tasks. Experience working on construction sites or in a shop environment involving heavy lifting and fixture installation. Knowledge of caulking techniques including stucco application or water damage restoration methods is a plus. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team. Commitment to safety standards including power tool safety practices and proper handling of materials such as mold remediation or rebar installation.
