This role assists with preparing materials, operating woodworking equipment, assembling cabinet components, maintaining quality standards, and keeping the workshop safe and organized. Measure, mark, cut, drill, shape, and assemble cabinet components Operate woodworking hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Assist with building cabinet boxes, doors, drawers, frames, and panels. Sand, finish, and prepare cabinet components for installation. Read and follow drawings, measurements, work orders, and project specifications. Inspect components and completed cabinets for fit, accuracy, and quality. Maintain organized tools, equipment, materials, and workshop areas. Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of workshop equipment. Identify production issues and report material or equipment concerns to supervisors. Follow workplace safety procedures and company quality standards. Assist with loading, staging, and preparing finished cabinetry for delivery or installation. Requirements Previous woodworking, cabinetmaking, carpentry, manufacturing, or workshop experience is an asset.
