Millwork Installer Georgetown, TX Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Fabrication OSHA Manufacturing facility Driver's License Millwork Frame carpentry Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Millwork Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing custom millwork, cabinetry, trim, doors, and other woodwork components with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to creating high-quality interiors and exteriors that meet project specifications and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling to new construction, utilizing your carpentry skills and industry knowledge to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install millwork products such as cabinets, moldings, door frames, and custom wood fixtures in accordance with blueprints and schematics. Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical plans to ensure accurate installation. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete installations on time. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and resolve on-site challenges. Perform site preparation tasks including framing, drywall finishing, caulking, and sealing to ensure a clean installation environment. Conduct quality inspections of installed work to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications. Assist in fabrication and modification of millwork components as needed for custom projects or adjustments. Skills Strong knowledge of trim carpentry techniques. Experience with blueprint reading and fabrication processes. Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) used in millwork installation. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and experience working on active construction sites. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks throughout the workday. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on precision craftsmanship; ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in physically demanding jobs including standing, kneeling, bending, lifting and working at varying heights. Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to pass any site required drug testing and criminal background check
- Ability to be certified on construction equipment
- Reliable transportation,
- Valid US/State driver's license,
- Drug Free
- Legally allowed to work in the United States
- Be able to work Overtime when required - off shift work and weekend work
- - Other duties and activities as required by management (could include assisting the manufacturing plant) Criminal Background Check and MVR Check will be required as part of the hiring process.
Compensation:
We offer competitive wages, paid weekly, with paid over-time, team-oriented environment. Pay is determined by experience and skills assessment(s)Travel:
We primarily service the Central Texas market. Occasionally we will take on a project outside of this area for select customers. On the rare occasion overnight travel is needed, we will provide per diem pay as well.
