Learn more about our services at www.straitlines.com. Role Description The Art Installation role at Straitlines is a part time to full-time, on-site position based in Collinsville, TX. All jobs are based mainly in the DFW area. This role involves driving to each location ans installing artwork, mirrors, and related fixtures in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring accurate measurements, secure mounting, and clean finishes. Day-to-day tasks include assessing installation sites, selecting appropriate hardware, drilling into various surfaces, handling and transporting pieces safely, and coordinating with clients or team members on placement and layout. The installer will also assist with assembling furniture, hanging draperies and shelving, and supporting pick-up and delivery of items as needed. This role requires consistent adherence to safety standards, careful handling of client property, and professional communication on every project. Qualifications Practical installation skills, including measuring, leveling, and securely mounting artwork, mirrors, shelving, and fixtures on a variety of surfaces. Comfort and experience using hand and power tools, with the ability to drill into brick, tile, stone, glass, and granite safely and accurately. Strong spatial awareness and basic design sense to assist clients with placement, alignment, and layout decisions. Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver artwork, furniture, and equipment, maintaining safety for self and others. Reliable time management and organizational skills to handle multiple installation appointments and projects efficiently. Clear, professional communication and customer service skills to interact respectfully with clients and team members. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship, ensuring clean finishes and minimal disruption at job sites. Valid driver's license, dependable transportation to Collinsville, TX, and willingness to travel locally for installations. Prior experience in art installation, carpentry, general contracting, or related trades is preferred but not required. Ability to work on-site full time, follow safety protocols, and adapt to varied environments and project types.
