Job Description

TEK-IT is looking to hire a team lead installer of high-end home automation, network, theater, audio, surveillance, lighting systems, control systems, motorized shades, etc. We are looking to add to our team a hard working, talented and dedicated installer with at least 2 years of audio/video installation experience and at least 1 year of team leadership experience.
  • Leadership, schedule management, high work energy, trustworthiness and experience are a must.
  • Need to have a cheerful, positive, and friendly can-do attitude yet be assertive, capable of training and leading up to 4 other installers.
  • Must be able to take direction from leadership and learn from them in order to always provide excellent quality results according to TEK-IT's high Standards.
  • Must have high competence in construction and general jobsite knowledge. Must be skilled with using such tools as a tape measure, impact drivers, nail gun, circular saw, variety of drills, pliers, level, and many more.
  • Experience in the field is a requirement. We are looking for a great person with ambition who is willing to learn and progress even further in this ever advancing and improving field of home automation. We are a growing company and we seek someone who desires to grow themselves with us both in skill and in earning potential.
  • Must be able and willing to work long hard work days (10 hours or more) and remain both physically and mentally tough.
Our work is performed both inside and outside and at times we are exposed to the cold and heat. Our normal working hours are Monday through Thursday 8-6:30, with some Fridays used for overtime during our busy seasons. We do not work Saturday or Sunday. All major holidays are paid time off. You will be required to provide your own basic set of hand tools. Major tools as well as a company vehicle, phone, etc are provided. TEK-IT has a zero tolerance drug policy and requires all employees to undergo a drug and background screening upon starting and at random times throughout employment. We are looking to pay starting between $28
  • 35 per hour depending on overall skill, experience, as well as quality of character.
