Your expertise in handling materials, operating power and hand tools, and understanding fabrication processes will drive our production efficiency and craftsmanship standards. Duties Operate machinery such as saws, routers, and machining tools to cut, shape, and assemble millwork components with accuracy. Use hand tools and power tools to fabricate, assemble, and finish wood products according to specifications. Handle materials safely within the warehouse or manufacturing floor, ensuring proper storage and transportation of raw materials and finished goods. Assist in the assembly of custom millwork pieces, ensuring alignment and quality standards are met throughout the process. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on the shop floor. Follow detailed blueprints and technical drawings to produce precise components for various projects. Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed to move heavy or bulky items safely around the facility. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing, carpentry, or warehouse environments with a focus on millwork or related fields. Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels, saws, drills, and measuring devices. Familiarity with power tools used in fabrication and assembly processes. Knowledge of materials handling procedures within a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics accurately. Prior experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is preferred; certification is a plus.
