We're looking for a skilled and motivated Assistant Cabinet Maker / Woodworker to join our growing team at Captain's Custom Shop. About the

Role:

You'll work alongside our lead craftsman to build high-quality custom cabinets, built-ins, and specialty woodwork. From precision cutting and assembly to sanding, finishing, and on-site installation, you'll be involved in every phase of the process. We use a combination of traditional woodworking techniques and modern CNC/CAD technology to create projects that are beautiful, functional, and built to last.

Pay:

$20-28/hour DOE We pay competitively and reward experience, craftsmanship, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and assemble custom cabinetry, furniture, and architectural woodwork Interpret shop drawings and work from CAD files or templates Safely operate a range of tools, from table saws and routers to CNC machines Assist with finishing, sanding, and installing completed work Maintain a clean, efficient shop environment Occasionally travel to job sites for delivery and installation (transportation provided)

What We're Looking For:

1-3+ years of woodworking or cabinetry experience preferred Familiarity with shop tools, hardware installation, and finish work Good communication, attention to detail, and pride in your work Ability to lift materials and work on your feet for extended periods A team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
