Processing Operator Location:
Casa Grande, AZ Benefits:

$15.00 - $16.63 Per hour based on experience
Term:
12-month contract with possible extensions or permanency based on performance
Shift:
1st shift from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM (12 hours)
Requirements:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Processing Operator to support the manufacturing of liquid pediatric and medical nutritional products. This position is responsible for operating computer-controlled processing equipment, weighing and staging raw ingredients, monitoring production processes, and maintaining accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company quality standards. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, comfortable working with computerized manufacturing systems, and capable of performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and document computer-controlled blending processes. Weigh, stage, and document raw ingredients using computerized weighing systems. Operate and monitor Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems used to sanitize manufacturing equipment. Perform product line operations, including standardization, final water additions, and ingredient preparation. Prepare, monitor, and document bulk slurry manufacturing processes. Operate and monitor computerized heat treatment systems during production. Receive, transport, and stage bulk raw materials, ingredients, and CIP chemicals. Follow batch records, work orders, and standard operating procedures to ensure product quality and traceability. Maintain accurate production documentation and manufacturing records. Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and preventative maintenance activities to maintain GMP compliance. Safely handle raw materials and routinely lift and move production ingredients. Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with additional production-related duties as assigned. Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Some college coursework or vocational training is preferred. Previous experience in food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, nutritional products, or similar batch-processing environments is preferred. Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with computer-controlled manufacturing systems is preferred. Ability to safely lift and transport raw materials throughout the manufacturing process. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Strong written, verbal, and computer skills. Ability to follow detailed work instructions and accurately complete production documentation. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
USOPS Pay:
$16.63 per hour
