Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Technician IV for a Contract with a client in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will be skilled in following MES-driven instructions, operating process and metrology tools, and performing accurate wafer inspections to support efficient manufacturing operations.
Rate Range:
$45/Hour to $52/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Technician IV Job Responsibilities include:
Follow MES instructions to prioritize and execute manufacturing tasks accurately and efficiently. Load and unload process equipment, including performing manual wafer handling in a cleanroom environment. Operate metrology and inspection tools, including X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), to support production requirements. Perform visual inspections of wafers and accurately record measurements and process data. Maintain strict compliance with cleanroom protocols, safety standards, and quality procedures. Collaborate with process engineers and manufacturing teams to support daily production goals and continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a technical or science-related field. Minimum 5 years of experience with manual wafer handling in a cleanroom environment. Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts. Experience with MOCVD processes and proficiency using spreadsheets (Excel or similar tools). Pay Details:
