Job Description

Job Title Process Operator Division or Business Unit Packaging Department or Function Operations Location Ontario, CA Job Description Canning and labeling of products into gallon jugs, pails, drums and totes.

Operate industrial Parts washer, maintain cleaning solutions.

To produce a variety of inks and ink intermediates by following standard operating procedures. Operator will carry out various tasks in the preparation, reaction and storage of a variety of products, using mixers, pumps, filters, hoists, forklifts and other manufacturing equipment. The Operator will come in contact with a variety of chemicals and chemical waste products, some of which can be hazardous.

Batch processing includes charging material, processing batch, monitoring and recording data, loading, unloading and cleaning equipment, packaging product, maintaining a safe and orderly work area, assisting other production areas as needed. The successful candidate must possess the following:

Must be able to work independently, be able to execute strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work such as lifting, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds, work in high temperatures, indoors and out and be able to work any shift.

Must become thoroughly knowledgeable in the process of producing a quality batch and must be able to troubleshoot any issues that occur during the process.

Maintain a working knowledge of all SOPs associated with the process.

Perform daily housekeeping of his/her area and all equipment.

Maintain an acceptable attendance record which will be monitored continuously.

Be knowledgeable and adhere to all safety requirements. With proper training, the candidate should become proficient in all facets of process operator duties, including cross- training in 12-16 months. Cross training includes but not limited to:

Shipping & Receiving

Tub washing

Batch Weighing - Liquid Manufacturing

Forklift training

Safety Training Qualification Profile

• Education Experience

Skills Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions

Must have good basic math skills, including percentage calculation.
