Job Description

Connect Staffing is hiring a Chemical Process Operator for an aerospace and industrial metal finishing facility in Santa Ana, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $19.40/hr on a Monday-Friday day schedule. In this role, you will rack and load metal parts onto fixtures and process them through anodizing and chemical treatment cycles, monitoring tank conditions and following detailed work instructions throughout. This is a stable, long-term placement with consistent day hours and no weekend work.

Temp-to-Hire Work Environment:
Manufacturing Plant / Factory Responsibilities Rack and load metal parts onto fixtures for anodizing and chemical treatment processing, following step-by-step process sheets and work instructions. Check and record tank conditions — temperature, chemical levels, and process timing — at required intervals throughout the shift. Add chemicals to tanks as directed by supervisors. Log production data including tank temperatures and completed process steps. Inspect parts and setups to identify defects or errors before processing begins. Maintain a clean and organized tank room and wear required PPE — gloves, goggles, and face shield — at all times during the shift. Preferred Qualifications Experience in metal finishing, plating, anodizing, or chemical processing. Familiarity with tank room operations or wet chemistry environments. Experience reading and following process sheets or work orders in a manufacturing setting. Exposure to chemical handling safety practices and proper use of PPE in an industrial environment. Basic understanding of aerospace or defense manufacturing standards. Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment. Ability to read and follow detailed, step-by-step work instructions with precision. Pre-Employment Requirements Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Steel toe boots required (employee-provided). Background check required. E-Verify / work authorization required.
