Job Description
Full time
The primary responsibility of this position is to operate precision etching equipment and meet production goals on a consistent basis. Team members in this position must adhere to environmental,health and safety standards.
Your role and responsibilities: Operate chemical etching equipment in accordance with operating procedures.
Follow all writen procedures and cordinate with process engineer when abnormal conditions are encountered
Participate in end of shift turnovers with ability to effectively communicate.
Must operate equipment (for example,pumps,GLV's,filter presses,reactors,valves,ph probes,ovens,forklifts, etc) independently after initial training is complete.
Responsible for understanding basic chemical reations and proper handling of chemicaals within the work area.
Responsible for handling and porcessing hazardous waste as required within the work area.
Read and interpret mechanical drawing.
Operate precision inspection equipment and record results.
At times may be required to wear hearing protection, and half-mask respirator, and other forms of PPE.
Support other production areas and departments as needed to meet company-wide goals.
