Now Hiring Thin Film/Coating Technician -
Boulder, CO Shifts Available:
Weekend Shift & 2nd
Shift Pay:
$20-24 per hour
Shift Differential:
Additional compensation applies for Weekend and 2nd Shift schedules.
Training Requirement:
Must be able to train on Day Shift. Thin Film/Coating Technician Position Overview Step into a hands-on, high-impact role at the heart of our coating operations! As Thin Film/Coating Technician, you'll work with advanced deposition technology to create precision-engineered coated components used in cutting-edge applications. If you enjoy working with sophisticated equipment, solving problems, and seeing the results of your work every day, this role puts you right at the center of production excellence. Thin Film/Coating Technician Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor deposition equipment Prepare materials and tooling Inspect coated parts for quality Maintain logs and perform routine equipment upkeep Follow all safety and process guidelines Clean and perform routine inspection and measurement of substrates; typically performs spin cleaning and works on smaller optics Set up tooling Load parts into chambers Foil chambers Change targets Use a spectrophotometer to scan optical components (as needed) Perform regens Beadblast chamber components Perform basic chamber maintenance Start coating runs Rebuild ebeam sources with supervision Benefits Health, vision, and dental insurance Weekly paychecks Free online skills education and training Opportunities for growth Supportive team environment with a focus on safety #nowhiring
