Technical training in plastics manufacturing, injection molding, or a related field is a plus Experience Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience processing plastics with injection molding machines
Experience troubleshooting injection molding processes and equipment
Ability to interpret complex drawings, specifications, charts, and technical data
Experience using precision measuring instruments
Ability to make minor modifications to NC/CNC equipment programs
Computer proficiency for entering and tracking production data Job Duties Start up injection molding machines and perform process adjustments
Ensure products meet quality specifications before releasing jobs to production
Troubleshoot production issues involving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Analyze process performance and make corrections to optimize production
Perform machine shutdown procedures and material purges
Monitor molding parameters including temperature, pressure, and cycle times
Work with high-performance engineering materials and understand their response to heat, speed, and pressure
Utilize precision measuring equipment to verify product quality
Maintain production records and enter data into computer systems
Support continuous improvement and process optimization efforts Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred.
Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial.
Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset.
Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Process Technician. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
