Responsibilities Perform setups and checklist steps required to prepare coating chambers for standard operation Independently operate coating production equipment IAW SOPs, run sheets and routings Communicate all changes of setup and programming to engineering and/or Supervisor Assist engineers with the optimization and development of new processes Conduct a wide variety of preventative maintenance procedures Setup, load, unload and maintain coating fixtures Perform visual inspections of pre and post-coated optics for defects Measure finished parts using a variety of metrology equipment Assist in the creation and revision of work instructions Through cross training, become proficient with all coating chambers May be required to use a ladder Will be required to use shop and power tools Participate in 6S activities which include but are not limited to cleaning, organizing, and improving the efficiency of workspaces. Organize and maintain consumables and maintenance supplies Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and protocols Other duties as assigned Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations Qualifications To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
